Teacher Raises $10,000 for Gifts for Livingston Elementary Children

SMILES, HUGS, LAUGHTER … AND SOME PRESENTS, TOO In a festive, school-wide event that culminated weeks of planning, each of the more than 400 students in New Brunswick’s Livingston Elementary School received a brand new, tightly wrapped holiday gift.  The effort was coordinated by district physical education teacher Jennifer Olawski, and was financed via an online, Go Fund Me initiative that raised $10,000.

About New Brunswick Public Schools
The New Brunswick, NJ public school district consists of two high schools (New Brunswick High School and Health Sciences Technology High School), a middle school (New Brunswick Middle School) and nine elementary schools (Lincoln, Lincoln Annex, Livingston, Lord Stirling, McKinley, Redshaw, Roosevelt, Paul Robeson Community School for the Arts, and Woodrow Wilson schools).
